Season 8 Audition Information
Clinic & Audition Schedule
Friday, May 30 – Audition Clinics
Dancers will learn the full audition process during their age-appropriate clinic.
- Ages 7–9: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Ages 10–12: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Ages 13+: 6:45 PM – 8:45 PM
Saturday, May 31 – Auditions
- Ages 5–6: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Will Learn their skills at audition
- Ages 7–9: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
- Ages 10–12: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
- Ages 13+: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Monday, June 2 – Mandatory Parent Meeting
Audition Videos
Below are the audition video links for the following age groups:
Contemporary, Jazz, Tap Hip Hop and for ages 10+ ballroom
All audition dances are included in one video. You may fast-forward to your dancer’s desired audition category. Dancers should audition for all genres presented.
Ballet Portion
The ballet center and across-the-floor components will be taught live during the audition day and are not included in the video.
What to Expect
At auditions, dancers will be evaluated on:
- Flexibility
- Technique
- Musicality
- Memory
- Choreography
Audition Attire
- Black leotard
- Black leggings or shorts
- Proper dance shoes for each style (regular socks are not permitted)
- Hair slicked back in a bun
- Full-face performance makeup required
