Monthly Tuition: Tuition is due on the first of every month, by automatic payment with a debit card or credit card.

$10 Late fee for any payments made after the 10th of each month.

Once classes have begun, all tuition is non-refundable.

Recital Related

Recital Dates:

  • Saturday, May 17 & Sunday, May 18

    🎭 Important Recital Information:
    Our recital is a private event exclusively for our dance family. Tickets will be distributed in advance and must be presented at the recital for entry.

    Thank you for your cooperation—we can’t wait to celebrate our dancers with you!

Recital Fees:

  • Base Recital Fee:
    • $110 for the first dancer
    • $60 for each additional sibling

Costume Fees:

  • Toddler Costume: $80
  • Youth and Adult Costume: $85
    • These fees cover the costume, accessories, and tights (if needed).
    • Parents may need to purchase shoes separately.

Payment Deadlines:

  • Costume and Recital Fees Due:
    • December 9
    • Late Fee: $25 for payments made after December 9
    • Final Payment Deadline for Costumes: December 30 (Costumes will not be ordered until payment is made)
  • Opt-Out Form Deadline:
    • If you choose not to participate in the recital, you must fill out the Recital Opt-Out Form by December 1, 2023. If not submitted, it will be assumed that the student is participating, and recital fees will be charged.

Fees and Policies for Changes:

  • No Refunds: Costume and recital fees are non-refundable.
  • What the Recital Fee Covers:
    • Venue, tech, lighting, backdrop, security, dressing rooms, clean-up
    • One program per family (not an ad)
    • Videographer (to record the recital, no need for personal video recording)

Additional Fees for Last-Minute Withdrawals or Absences:

  • Re-blocking Fee: $75 for dancers who pull out of the recital during the month of the event.
  • No-Call, No-Show Fee: $100 for dancers who do not show up on the day of the recital without prior notice.

Important Notes:

  • The recital is a significant event that requires a lot of behind-the-scenes planning, and last-minute changes or withdrawals are disruptive to both the teachers and other students.
  • Ensure all payments and forms are submitted on time to avoid extra fees or complications with costumes and participation.

Studio Related

Withdrawal and Refunds:

  • Notice of Withdrawal:
    • A 30-day notice is required to discontinue classes.
    • Withdrawals must be done in person at the reception desk, not with the teacher or via phone/email.
    • A JDS withdrawal form must be completed and signed. This form cannot be accepted if there is a balance due.
  • Automatic Payments:
    • Automatic payments will stop after the 30-day notice period.
  • Non-Attendance:
    • Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal or valid reason for not paying tuition.
    • Once classes have started, tuition is non-refundable or transferable, and credits are not issued.
  • Termination of Lessons:
    • The school reserves the right to terminate lessons for any student. If this happens, refunds will be at the director’s discretion.

Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events:

  • Parents (or adult students) are responsible for staying informed about:
    • Viewing days, recitals, extra classes, school closures, and open dates.
    • Notices are sent via email and posted on the bulletin board.
  • Parents must ensure the school has their current email address, phone number, and address.

Make-Up Classes:

  • Dancers who are absent may make up classes with office approval.
  • There are no tuition adjustments for absences.
  • No make-up classes for holiday absences, as tuition is adjusted for holidays.

Observation:

  • Parents are welcome to watch class through viewing windows, but should not distract their child.
  • Parents cannot interrupt class. If a child needs to leave early, the parent should make arrangements with the instructor or receptionist.
  • There are three observation days during the year where parents can come into the studio to watch.
  • Parents should keep small children quiet and save conversations for outside the studio.
  • Photography and video are allowed, but parents should remain in their seat to avoid disrupting the class.
  • Cell phones should be silenced during class.

Behavior and Discipline:

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully at all times.
  • Dancers should be courteous to staff and peers.

Students Before and After Class:

  • The studio is not responsible for children before or after class.
  • If you drop off your child, you are responsible for ensuring they are picked up on time.
  • Older students may arrive early to stretch and prepare for class, but they will not be directly supervised if dropped off.

Injuries:

  • Liability Waiver:
    • Parents/legal guardians waive the right to legal action for any injury sustained by their child during dance, cheer, tumbling, fitness, or other activities on studio property or off-site locations related to the school.
    • This includes any injuries that occur before, during, or after class time or performances.
