The audition process also applies to veteran athletes. Returning team
members are not guaranteed a spot on the same level team as last year.
Other factors, such as prior season attendance, overall participation, and
demeanor can also affect team placement.

Athletes that are only interested in show teams do not need to attend tryouts.

Initial team placement will be emailed no later than May 23rd.  Some athletes
may receive two level placements.  In this case, they will be asked to attend
practices for both teams during the summer until level placement is determined.
Please note, there is no guarantee of a higher-level placement.

All Novice, Prep, and Elite athletes are required to participate in at least
four weeks of summer practices to remain on the team. The summer
requirement schedule will be emailed with the placement letter. Classes will be held June 5th – July 26th and athletes may select the weeks that best work with their summer schedule. 

Summer 4 week Requirement Fees: 

Novice and Prep: $325

Elite Teams: $325

All teams are required to attend choreography week: 

Novice and Prep are  TBD

Elite teams are scheduled August 7th-10th 

Fall/Spring requirements: 

Once Athletes know team placement emails will be sent out with detailed information on fall schedule and competition season. 2023/2024 Season schedule will be 2 nights a week starting in September – May.

Possible extra practices may be added as coaches feel necessary. Practice times usually remain consistent through the season and are only changed under special circumstances.

During important times of the season, extra practices may be scheduled and all athletes are expected to attend.

Before considering Alamo Heights Xtreme Cheer, please consider the time and financial commitment involved.

Monthly fees cover competition practices, team tumbling, flexibility/conditioning and cheer dance technique. Fees do not fluctuate from month-to-month, nor change based on the number or length of practices in any particular month. Any extra practices do not increase tuition and any missed or canceled practices do not decrease the tuition. 

Fees:
During the 2023 – 2024 season, athletes will pay nine monthly charges beginning
in September 2023 through May 2024.
Novice, Prep, and Elite teams will also pay one monthly charge for their summer
practice sessions (for a total of ten monthly charges).

Fees do not fluctuate month-to-month, nor change based on the number or
length of practices in any particular month.  There are no extra fees for extra
practices.

Monthly Tuition:
· Novice and Prep teams: $306
· Elite teams: $325

Novice, Prep & Elite Teams:
· Team uniform: $300 – $550 (Due June 1 st )
· Practice wear, jacket, backpack, and bow**: $290 (Due July 1 st )
** Returning athletes will not need to purchase all items.  Breakdown of cost will be provided at team meeting.**
· Custom cheer music: $35 (Due July 1 st )
· Choreography Camp fee: TBD (Due August 1 st )
· Competition fees range from $100 to $200 depending on competitions
selected this fee will include coaches travel expenses. 

· All athletes will be required to purchase NFINITY Evolution Cheer shoes
which retail for $94.99 plus sales tax prior to summer practice sessions
starting.
